INSTALLATION

Installation Services are carried out by our expert team of Electrical Engineers, each experienced in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of all our UPS products.

RMD ENGINEERS

We are available 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends, which allows us to schedule installations at the most convenient time for your business. We will work to minimal disruption during installation, and testing will be completed according to the latest safety guidelines.

Maintenance options

We offer a range of UPS Maintenance options to meet your individual business needs, from an All-Inclusive contract with a 4 hour response to a fully chargeable contract with next business day response, we will tailor your support according to your requirements to ensure your UPS is operating at optimum efficiency at all times.

Maintenance visits

Our expert team of Electrical Engineers will inspect, test and report on the health of your UPS at regular maintenance visits throughout the year and our dedicated Customer Service Team are available to take your call should you require any supplementary maintenance support for your UPS system throughout the year.

If repairing the UPS isn’t an option, we will work with you to find the best solution to have your critical business systems supported again as a matter of priority.

If your UPS has a fault and requires repair, RMD are here to help. Our dedicated Customer Service Team will be happy to take your call to take preliminary details to assess the required course of action to bring your UPS back online as quickly as possible.

Manufacturer accredited

One of our manufacturer accredited Electrical Engineers may be able to get you back online with a quick call and some steps you can follow yourself or they can be scheduled to quickly and efficiently inspect the unit and identify the cause of the failure. Following our analysis we will report back on our findings and recommend the most appropriate actions for repair of your backup power.

RMD can attend your site to assess and report back to you on the efficiency of your UPS batteries and offer services to quickly and safely replace these when required. The replacement can be planned at a time that is most convenient for you, with minimal downtime or disruption to your business operations.

Your UPS relies on a fully operational battery system to deliver backup power in the event of a mains supply failure which is why it is vital that batteries are working at their optimum level to provide the autonomy you need, whenever you need it.

Since batteries have a limited lifespan which will be affected by number of factors from usage, cycling patterns and charge/discharge rates to environmental factors such as the location of the equipment and room temperature, it is imperative to ensure your UPS batteries are operating at optimum levels at all times.

Removal & Disposal

Our services also include removal from site and safe disposal of existing batteries in accordance with the relevant government legislation.
