Schneider Elite Partner and Riello Services Partner

As a Schneider Elite Partner and Riello Services Partner, RMD has been supplying UPS products and installing complete UPS solutions for more than 30 years, from small single-phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to larger 3-phase solutions,

A single-phase system may be suitable for smaller installations of up to 15kVA to protect a small installation of servers, PC’s and telecoms whereas a three-phase system would be required for larger datacentre type installations.

Batteries

Fully Operational Battery Systems

A UPS relies on a fully operational battery system to deliver backup power in the event of a mains supply failure which is why it is vital ensure that batteries are working at their optimum level to provide the autonomy you need, whenever you need it.

RMD work with major battery manufacturers including Fiamm and Yuasa and can source replacement cells for most brands of UPS including APC by Schneider, Riello, Eaton and MGE.

Bypass Panels

Fully Bypass the UPS System

A Bypass Panel (also known as a service bypass panel, or maintenance bypass panel) is a key component in most UPS installations, which allows the user to fully bypass the UPS.  This provides the ability to supply utility power to the critical load while completely isolating the UPS from both utility power and the load.

Power Distribution Units

Battery Systems

Power Distribution Units (PDU’s) are devices with multiple power outlets, providing electrical protection and distributing power to IT equipment within a rack.

PDU’s use power from a single source to power multiple devices in the data centre and are available in different forms with varying levels of sophistication; from Basic PDU’s to distribute the correct voltage and currently to multiple outlets powering equipment, to Switched PDU’s with Outlet Metering to help users determine power usage and available capacity, control individual or groups of outlets and power devices remotely in a specific order.

Automatic Transfer Switches

Reliable transfers of  essential load connections

An Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) provides a reliable way to transfer essential load connections between primary and alternate sources of electrical power such as a generator or backup utility feed, to provide continuous (or near continuous) uptime when the primary source of power is unavailable.

With an ATS in place, electrical parameters of primary and alternate power sources will be constantly monitored and the ATS will automatically transfer the load circuit to the other power source (if it is available).
